JETS (Junior Engineering Technical Society)
We are the TAMS Junior Engineering and Technical Society (JETS), TAMS's club for all things STEM! We make an impact in Denton and surrounding areas by helping educate and promote science to young students, with initiatives such as STEM night, SWENext, SciDemos, GEC, STEMBoxes, and our biannual Science Adventure Camps. We also bring home many medals in competitions! We compete in Science Olympiad, including the CyFalls, UT Austin, & 7 Lakes Invitationals and the Fort-Worth Regionals and State Science Olympiad, and we compete in SciBowl at invitationals and Regionals. We are excited for the upcoming school year and getting to meet all of you! Go JETS Jags!

Hi everyone! I'm Taylor, and I'll be your JETS president this year! I'm on the General Math and Science track here at TAMS, and I previously attended Seven Lakes High School. In my free time, I love cooking, doing research, cafe-hopping, and jamming to house music! In addition to JETS, I'm President of the TAMS Culinary Society and a Senior Mentor. I'm also Committee Head of BPA (TBO), World Cuisines (FACES), CITA (HOPE), and Healing with Music (TMS). I'm super excited to meet and work with you guys for all of our upcoming competitions and volunteering opportunities!

In my free time, I enjoy befriending squirrels, listening to music (always looking for new music!), playing around with tech, crafting, and sidequesting with friends. Outside of JETS I also serve as your CSO Code-Ed committee head and TAS CS committee head! Looking forward to volunteering with everyone through GEC, Science Adventure Camps, and STEMNights!

Additionally, I serve as the ACES Comps Director, VP of Quizbowl, TAMS Senator, Gardening Committee Head, and a BSU executive! I'm extremely passionate about anything astronomy or physics-related (currently into astrophotography). I’m very excited to help you all lock in for Science Olympiad and SciBowl this year >:)
